...can you imagine what he must be thinking when he looks out into the crowd of people at campaign rallies? Thousands of people - young and old - excited about the idea of freedom as expounded by a 76 year old man who has been ridiculed time and time and time again; thousands of people finally starting to wake up to the message that he has been promoting for thirty years. I can only imagine what a joy that must be for him.
Even if Ron Paul does not end up the next President of the United States, he has certainly helped to spark the desire for political freedom in countless people's hearts, and he has left a great example for people to follow: be consistent, be authentic, don't lust after power, follow the constitution, stand for principle (even if you're the only one standing), tell the truth, stand for peace, stand for freedom, stand for prosperity, finish strong.
The r3volution will continue long after Ron Paul is gone. People will always desire to be free, and people will always also desire to control and use others. Resist the temptation to be a part of the latter. End this war. It's not impossible.
